The film, produced by P. Murthy and directed by Orata Shree, is set to release on February 7.

Under the banner of Rathnamma Movies, P. Murthy has produced Kora, a film directed by Orata Shree and starring Tsunami Kitty, who rose to fame through a reality show. The much-anticipated trailer was recently launched, with the Kannada version unveiled by Maharshi Anand Guruji and Palanahalli Guruji. The Tamil trailer was released by directors R. Chandru and Bahaddur Chethan Kumar. Several notable figures, including Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce President Narasimhulu, Kannada Film Producers Association President Umesh Banakar, actors Cockroach Sudhi, Orata Prashanth, producer Sanjay Gowda, and Tukali Santosh, attended the grand event.

Producer P. Murthy stated, “Kora began with the blessings of Koragajja and tells a story deeply rooted in our land. It revolves around an indigenous tribal community and a mythical demon. Most of the film was shot in forests across Sakleshpur, Sringeri, Udupi, and Mangalore. Orata Shree has crafted an excellent story, and Tsunami Kitty has delivered a commendable performance. I have also acted in the role of Kathora. With the collective effort of all the cast and crew, this film has turned out wonderfully and will release on February 7 in Kannada, Tamil, and Telugu. We seek your support for our film.”

Director Orata Shree expressed his gratitude, saying, “Kora is set 40 years ago, a time when people worshipped nature as divine. Today, disputes arise over even a foot of land. This film, with its unique content, combines commercial appeal and storytelling. Although it’s labeled a pan-India project, it is primarily a Kannada film. The universal story led to its multi-language release.”

Tsunami Kitty, the lead actor, shared his gratitude, saying, “I thank P. Murthy for giving me this opportunity and director Sri for preparing me for the role. With our team’s hard work, Kora will be an excellent film. Please support us.”

The film’s ensemble cast includes co-producer Chelvaraju, lead actress Charishma, actors M.K. Math, Muni, Neenasam Ashwath, Yathiraj, and Soujanya. The technical team features music director Hemant Kumar, cinematographer Selvam, lyricist Revanna Nayak, editor K. Girish Kumar, and distributors Shan (Tamil) and Balaji (Telugu).
