Chitradurga witnessed a grand celebration as the much-awaited pre-release event and trailer launch of the movie “Max” took place amidst great fanfare. The event was graced by Abhinaya Chakravarthy Kichcha Sudeepa, whose presence electrified the audience.
Scheduled for release across Karnataka on December 25, “Max” has already garnered immense excitement among fans. Speaking at the event, Sudeepa expressed his gratitude and shared, “I had promised the people of Chitradurga that I would come here. So, I didn’t come alone; I brought my family along to introduce them to you.”
Post the trailer launch, he continued, “It is always a joy to visit this place. Chitradurga is where we created the iconic movie ‘Huccha.’ I apologize for keeping you waiting for two and a half years. This will not happen again. On December 25, we will bring ‘Max’ to you. I must thank the film producers, along with Karthik Gowda, director Vijay Kartikeya, and especially Rockline Venkatesh, without whom this project would not have reached this stage. ‘Max’ follows Upendra Sir’s ‘UI.’ This film introduces many newcomers; I wish them all the best. The movie has turned out beautifully. The dance step I performed in front of Goddess Kali, celebrating the completion of three months of night shoots, has now gone viral. I hope the Kannada film industry continues to unite like this. Just as we support films from other states, I request everyone to support our films as well.”
Karthik Gowda, the distributor, also shared his excitement, stating, “Advance bookings for ‘Max’ are already open and receiving phenomenal responses. Our association with Sudeepa began with ‘Pailwaan’ and has continued to grow. In 2025, KRG Studios and Kichcha Creations will collaborate on a large-scale project directed by Sudeepa.”
The event, held at SJM Stadium in Chitradurga, was attended by prominent stars, including Dhananjaya, Darling Krishna, Yuva Rajkumar, Vinay Rajkumar, Shreyas Manju, Sukrutha Wagle, and directors A.P. Arjun and Rohith Padaki. Distributors like Karthik Gowda from KRG Studios, Anup Bhandari, Nirup Bhandari, and Naveen Shankar also shared their thoughts on Sudeepa and “Max.” Sudeepa’s wife, Priya Sudeepa, and daughter, Saanvi Sudeepa, watched the event with great enthusiasm.
The stage was further enlivened by dazzling performances from actress Sharanya Shetty and Bigg Boss fame Karthik Mahesh, who danced to Sudeepa’s iconic songs, thrilling the fans.
Produced by Kalaipuli S. Thanu under V Creations and Kichcha Sudeepa under Kichcha Creations, and directed by Vijay Kartikeya, Max is set for a grand release in Kannada on December 25 and in other languages on December 27. The film features music composed by Ajaneesh Loknath.
