Instead of just releasing the poster, the idea to release a motion poster and invite the media was suggested by Kichcha Sudeepa. R Chandru of RC Studios followed through with this suggestion. As a result, on a chilly and rainy evening at a posh hotel in Bengaluru, the motion poster for ‘Father’—starring Darling Krishna, Prakash Rai, and Amrutha Iyengar—was unveiled.

Wishing success to the hard work and sincere efforts of R Chandru, and appreciating Darling Krishna for his growth, Kichcha Sudeepa said, “We should not worry about what others say. We should keep moving ahead.”

Many dignitaries, including political leader HM Revanna and actors Anoop Revanna and Anand Audio Shyam, attended the event. Prakash Rai and Darling Krishna play the lead roles in this film about the bond between a father and a son, directed by Raj Mohan.

Producer R Chandru, thanking Sudeep for releasing the motion poster, said, *”I came to Bangalore 22 years ago with 100 rupees, and now I have made a 100-crore movie like Kabza. I am grateful to everyone who has supported me in this journey. I had previously produced 12 movies under the Siddeshwara Enterprises banner, and now I’ve started a huge production company called RC Studios. The first movie from this company is Father. This film beautifully portrays the bond between a father and a son. I was impressed when director Raj Mohan narrated the story to me. Legendary actor Prakash Rai plays the father, while Darling Krishna plays the son. Once two remaining songs are shot, the filming will be complete.

I am passionate about seeing Kannada films thrive on a global scale, which is why I started RC Studios. Along with our company, we are collaborating with renowned production houses across languages. Father, with its universally relatable story, will be released as a pan-India film. I hope you all support this venture.”*

Darling Krishna shared, “Milana, my wife, liked this story even before I did when I heard it. She encouraged me to take up this role. It was a pleasure working alongside Prakash Rai. Father will be a film that stays in people’s hearts for a long time. All my films that Sudeep has blessed have been successful. I believe this one will be, too. I thank Sudeep immensely.”

Director Raj Mohan stated, “There have been many films about father-son relationships, but this one is different. It’s a film that will not disappoint those who come to the cinema.”

Heroine Amrutha Iyengar added, “I have a good role in Father. I thank the producers for giving me the opportunity to act in this film. I admire R Chandru’s passion for cinema.” Actor Nagabhushan also shared, “My role in this film is significant, and I am grateful for the opportunity.”

Dialogue writer Manju Mandavya, cinematographer Sugnan, and writer Manjunath Magodi also spoke about the film. Production head Yamuna Chandrashekar, executive producer Maurya Manju, and others were present at the media briefing.
