Kannappa team led by Vishnu Manchu embarks on a pilgrimage to visit all 12 Jyotirlingas across India for their upcoming film.
This big-budget film is currently undertaking a unique spiritual journey. Veteran actor Mohan Babu, along with his son Vishnu Manchu and the Kannappa team, recently visited the temples at Kedarnath, Badrinath, and Rishikesh, aiming to pay their respects at all 12 Jyotirlinga shrines.
Accompanied by actor Arpit Ranka and producer Mukesh Kumar, the team visited these sacred places, starting with Kedarnath, one of the revered Jyotirlingas nestled in the Himalayas. They also offered prayers at Badrinath and later visited Rishikesh.
Vishnu Manchu shared, “Our goal is to visit all 12 Jyotirlinga shrines before the release of Kannappa. We began with Kedarnath and will continue our journey to the remaining 10. We aim to release this film soon.”
Inspired by epic narratives like The Lord of the Rings, Kannappa is set to captivate audiences with grand visuals. Renowned Hollywood cinematographer Sheldon Chau has captured stunning scenes across scenic New Zealand.
Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, Kannappa features a star-studded cast, including Mohanlal, Prabhas, Akshay Kumar, Mohan Babu, Sarathkumar, Brahmanandam, and Kajal Aggarwal. Produced by 24 Frames Factory and AVA Entertainment, most of the film’s high-budget production has been shot in New Zealand.
