Actor-director Yathiraj, who deeply understands that love stories have no end, emotional relationships never die, and nature does not fear defeat, has encapsulated these three themes in his directorial film, Sanju. The film is set to hit the screens on the 27th.
It appears that Yathiraj, who is also a journalist, has drawn from his vast experience to craft this story, now brought to life as a movie.
Yathiraj speaks with great confidence about Sanju, which is produced by Santhosh DM from Mysore. “A lot of ups and downs, defeats, disappointments, and humiliations occur, especially during teenage years. Some people overcome them easily, while others are left heartbroken by these experiences. I’ve captured two such stories within the framework of love. I can’t claim that everyone will appreciate my film, but I believe those who view life and relationships from a deeper perspective will resonate with it,” Yathiraj shares.
When discussing the film’s highlights, producer Santhosh DM is the first to be mentioned. Although Sanju is his debut production, no effort or expense has been spared. The second highlight of the film is its setting. The bus stop set in Murnad, Madikeri, along with the heroine’s house, the hero’s home, and the surrounding environment, has added a touch of glamour to the film. The performances of the cast, including Sundarshree, Sangeet, Balaraj Wadi, Apoorva, Bau Bau Jayaram, Mahantesh, Prakash Shenai, and Katyayani, further enhance the film, according to the director.
The third key point is the performance of the heroine, Satvika. Yathiraj also praises the hero, Manvit, stating that his nuanced performance could win him a state award.
The film’s cinematography by Vidya Nagesh beautifully captures scenic visuals, while the background score elevates the emotional depth of the movie. Vijay Haritsa commends the team for their hard work and dedication in bringing a unique dimension to the film.
Action director Thriller Manju has choreographed two action sequences, and the songs choreographed by Madan-Harini add a commercial flair to the film. The editing is done by Sanjeeva Reddy, with Sonusagara and Arun Kumar serving as co-directors.
