In a rare coincidence, on an auspicious Friday, the muhurta ceremony for the films “Aa..Ee..” and “Raja Deva Sindhu” was held at Renukamba Studio amidst a gathering of esteemed guests. Both films are being directed by Durga Mohan, with the production responsibility taken on by RSP Productions and Chinmay Cine Creations.

The director mentioned that the titles “Aa” and “Ee” (which mean ‘those days’ and ‘these days’) were chosen to pique the curiosity of the audience. Inspired by Kashinath, the story is infused with humor while also delivering a message. It reflects both village life and corporate life, and the experiences of our generation and today’s youth. Both have their positives and negatives, but by embracing the good, one can lead a beautiful life. The film also touches on contemporary events and presents four different perspectives on love.

Bhargav plays a dual role, with Raghavendra Rajkumar and Sudharani appearing in significant supporting roles as characters who help the village couple settle in the city. Other actors include Shwetha Sanket, Chavasi Thimmayya, Monica Vasishta, and Ara. The music is composed by Vivek Junglee, and plans are being made to shoot three action sequences and four songs under different masters.

The second film, Raja Deva Sindhu, is a fantasy story set in the present generation. When we think of a king, we often remember Krishnadevaraya, and his great works like patronizing poets and building rest houses for pilgrims. These historical aspects were researched and integrated into the script. In this story, ‘Raja’ is a modern-day delivery boy, and there are connections to the legacy of ‘Devaraya.’ The female lead is ‘Sindhuja,’ a young princess. Together, these three characters drive the film.

Bhargav plays the lead in this film as well, with Swathi Prabhu, Chavasi Thimmayya, and Ara as the heroines. The team is still searching for an actress to play the sister’s role. The cinematography is handled by Prajwal Devaraj, and the shooting locations will include Bangalore, Madikeri, Mangalore, and set recreations of scenes from the royal era. The team has promised to reveal more details in the coming days.
