The title unveiling ceremony of the new film, produced under the Dhuvan Films banner and directed by Vijay Palegar (known for Trigger), starring Aditya Sasikumar—son of Supreme Hero Shashikumar—and Sameeksha, was held in grand fashion recently.
This beautiful love story is titled Rashi. The film team gave a special gift to Aditya Sasikumar by unveiling the title on his birthday. Dignitaries like Rajya Sabha member and Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee Working President G.S. Chandrasekhar, actor Shashikumar, Bangalore Deputy Commissioner of Police Siddaraj, and Mandya District Congress Working President S. Chidambar unveiled the title and wished the film crew success. Actor Aditya Sasikumar shared that this is the third film in which he plays the lead role and mentioned that the story is excellent. He expressed happiness that the title was revealed on his birthday, and also announced, “I have been Akshit Sasikumar for so long, but now I’ve changed my name to Aditya Sasikumar. I request everyone to call me Aditya Sasikumar from now on.”
Producer Akhilesh contacted director Vijay Palegar after visiting the Sri Raghavendra Swami Rayara temple in Mantralaya and asked him to direct this film. Akhilesh has written the story, while Vijay Palegar is responsible for scripting, directing, composing, and handling the music direction. This will be Vijay’s second directorial venture after Trigger.
The film features dialogues by Abhinandan Deshapriya, cinematography by Naveen Surya, editing by KM Prakash, background score by Manju Mahadev, and stunt direction by Bande Chandru. A Muhurta ceremony was recently held at the Panchmukhi Ganpati Temple, and director Vijay Palegar stated that the shooting for this love story will begin soon.
The cast includes actress Sameeksha, producer Akhilesh, and artists Karisubbu, Ugram Ravi, Huli Karthik, among others.
Veterans Shashikumar and Kari Subbu reminisced about their earlier days in the industry and expressed their happiness at the event.
