This hotheaded writer and director, Ravi Srivatsa, has not changed his outlook on films. Adding to his confrontational nature, he collaborates with another volatile writer, MS Ramesh. The power and explosion are multifold in ‘Gangs of UK.’

For the first time, Ravi Srivatsa utilized the Pravara Samskrithi seen in Brahminical families for the launch of his new production banner, Deadly Arts. He has saluted the stalwarts, and the punch of Pravara is something stunning!

Ravi Srivatsa, who has directed most of the star-studded films like Deadly Soma, Madesh, and Dashamukh, a talented writer, has now set up his own new production company, through which ‘Gangs of UK’ is being produced. Fifty-six new talents have been given a chance to act in the film.

Ravi Srivatsa’s ‘Deadly Arts’ logo release and press conference for ‘Gangs of UK’ was held. Director KV Raju’s wife inaugurated the logo of the new production company. Obviously, Ravi Srivatsa turned emotional remembering his godfather KV Raju.

“Whatever work I took up, there was the blessing of KV Raju. He was standing behind me. After losing him, M.S. Ramesh accompanied me. This is a story made in 2018. In my life, MS Ramesh is equally important. I told this story last December; he asked who all are the artists. Most of the 56 artists are newcomers. We held the Muhurta of the film on April 18 and started shooting. Later, Orat Prashant, Jyoti Shetty, Kote Prabhakar, Padma Vasanti, Muni, and others joined our team along with the newcomers. We finished shooting the film last Saturday,” explained Ravi Srivatsa. “The film has a new way of narration. The characters in the flow come on the silver screen. Blood and revenge are part of this film,” he adds.

The script is based on an incident that happened at Pillari Falls in Bagalkot. Blood leaves its traces, flows, and travels from person to person. This is the concept of the film. The tagline is ‘Uttara Kannada Hatya Khanda.’

MS Ramesh admitted that it is because of KV Raju sir that they are standing where they are. “Always believe in your work” was his slogan. There is one special character, Tanksali Umesh, who is dumb but performed very well.

Bagalkot DC Janaki, SP, and others supported us. We have used local talents like Umesh and Mahantesh Hullur, who are close to Balanna, in the film. He said that dialogues that give a raw feel can be seen here.

KV Raju’s son, Amogh, is seen in the lead role in the film. Sonu Upadhyay, Praveen, Ugram Reddy, Sathya, Dhillon, Naveen, Prajwal Muski, Umesh, Vikas, and many new talents have been used in the film. Journalist Naveen Bangarappa plays an in-charge minister named Bhosaraj.

We have specially taken 8 songs of Shishunala Sharif and made them into bits. There are a total of 9 songs in the film, and music is composed by Sadhu Kokil. Ravi Srivatsa also said that they have planned to release the film in December or January
