Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar has released the trailer for “Taekwondo Girl” and praised the young talent involved in the project.

In a male-dominated society, challenges and obstacles for women continue to persist. This film quietly addresses the crucial issue of a woman’s self-preservation. The movie is titled “Taekwondo Girl.”

The film tells the story of a young girl from a poor family who struggles to gain an education. Despite the difficulties she faces in pursuing her studies, she learns the martial art of Taekwondo and becomes a role model for society through her achievements.

Ritu Parsha, a fifth-grader, has been practicing Taekwondo since the age of 3. She is a proud Taekwondo champion, having passed eight tests to earn her black belt, and has participated in four international championships.

Her mother, Dr. Sumita Praveen, was the main inspiration behind her achievements, teaching her daughter the importance of self-defense from a young age. Her husband, Praveen Bhanu, also supported their daughter and introduced her to the silver screen.

The film is directed by Ravindra Vamshi, who previously directed “Putani Safari” and “Night Curfew.” After taking 25 days of training in Taekwondo film direction, he learned the necessary skills to helm this project. Although “Taekwondo Girl” is a children’s film, Vamshi describes it as a film made by children for adults.

Around 200 Taekwondo students acted in the film. The music was composed by MS Thyagaraj, who has directed music for around 150 films. The film is comparable to “Chak De India” and “Dangal,” and it deserves encouragement and support.

The film team is preparing to release the movie in the last week of this month.
