Actress Apsara Rani, who has acted in Hindi and Telugu films and gained popularity through Ram Gopal Varma’s “Dangerous,” is acting in a Kannada film for the first time. She appears in a guest role in the film “Muddida Elegalu,” directed and produced by M. Shankar. The song featuring Apsara Rani was recently shot at Hebbal Veterinary College.

The beauty and style of the girl who arrives at the college in an expensive car mesmerize the college boys. While they assume she might be a new student, it turns out that she is not there to enroll but is their new chemistry teacher, a twist shown by the director through the song. The song, choreographed by Bhajarangi Mohan, features Apsara Rani, Ranjith Kumar, and Pankaj Narayan.

Eighty percent of the shooting for “Muddida Elegalu” has already been completed, with only a few parts remaining. One song was filmed in Kashmir, and another will be shot in Tajikistan.

M. Shankar, who is producing the film under the banner of Rio Production Film, has written the story, screenplay, and dialogues for “Muddida Elegalu.” Ranjani is the co-producer. The film’s music is directed by Vikas Vasishta, and the cinematography is by Shyam Sindhanuru.

Ranjith Kumar is making his debut as a lead actor in this film. The cast includes Pankaj Narayan, Pavana Gowda, Nikita Swami, Suryadarshan, Preeti, and others. Apsara Rani, Harshika Poonachha, Ramesh Bhat, Bhavya, Shobh Raj, Shankar Ashwath, Poonam Pandey, Padma Vasanthi, and Josiman are appearing in special roles.
