Bharateesha Vasishta an engineering graduate with a Diploma holder Santosh worked very hard on the contents of the first movie ‘The Checkmate’. The short film experience gave him the confidence to take up direction. It is about four youths who come to one particular place – the flashback and what future ahead is known in the screenplay. Friendship, love, and life take the center stage at one point in time. Situations move in the film like how the pawn in the chess game is moved, says intelligent director Bharateesha.
Ritu Pooja is the female lead Mouna in the film and it is her debut for her. Vijay Chendur, Sardar Sathya, Rajashekhar, Sudhir (cockroach), Pradeep Poojary, Vishwa Vijeth, Ninasam Ashwath, Amrutha Iyer, Divya, Karthik Huli, Chiller Manju, Vismaya and others are in the cast.
Satish Rajendran handled the camera, ES Ishwar and Sunil Kashyap worked on editing, Shashank Sheshagiri is the music composer and Violent Velu dune stunts.
