The word ‘Chowkidaar’ (watchman), popularized by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is now the title of a Kannada film featuring the young and handsome Pruthvi Ambaar in the lead role.
Known for the solid film ‘Rathavara,’ Chandrasekhar Bandiappa invited his actor from the same film, the roaring star Shrimurali, to unveil the film’s title.
Roaring star Shrimurali supported Bandiappa’s sixth project, released the Chowkidar title, and congratulated the entire team. Chowkidar is a multilingual film, being made in several languages besides Kannada.
Don’t be misled by the title Chowkidar; it is a family entertainer. Chandrasekhar Bandiappa introduces a new story with every movie. He has created comedy in Aane Pataki, a cult film in Rathavara, a unique story in Tarakasura, a crime thriller in Red Collar, and a coastal-flavored film in Karaavali. The audience is curious to see how he has structured the story in Chowkidar.
The Pruthvi-Chandrasekhar Bandiappa combo is produced by Kallahalli Chandrasekhar under the Vidya Shekhar Entertainment banner. Sachin Basrur is composing the music for this film, with songs written by V. Nagendra Prasad and Pramod Maravante.
Chandrasekhar Bandiappa also wrote the story for the film ‘Karaavali,’ directed by Gurudutt Ganiga. Now, Chandrasekhar Bandiappa is here to tell a new story with Chowkidar.
