This is a Pan India film because the artists and technicians have come from different parts of the country! “Chilli Chicken” is a mouth-watering dish for non-vegetarians. The makers of this film are even considering offering “Chilly Chicken” pieces to those who come to the theaters. That would obviously make news and may ring the cash registers.

The story about the four Chinese hotel boys, which happened in 2015, is the major content for producers Deep Bhimjiani and Sudha Nambiar under Metanoi Studios Production.

The film is directed by Prateek Prajosh. Five boys from North India work in a Chinese restaurant in Bangalore and decide to open their own hotel. An unexpected incident hinders their effort. The shooting and post-production have already been completed, and it is ready for release.

The director of the film is from Kerala, and the producer is from Gujarat. The artists are from Manipur, Meghalaya, and Chennai.

Producer Deep Bhimjiani has produced some short films in Hindi. He said, “We made this film only in Kannada and plan to release it by June.” Director Prateek Prajosh mentioned that he has worked on many films in Malayalam and Gujarati languages, including Hindi films like Padmavati and Andha Dhun, and has directed some short films in the past. “I have ventured into directing a feature film for the first time with Chilli Chicken. I am originally from Kerala. I like the people and environment here. I was educated in Bangalore. The film is based on a true incident that took place in Frazer Town, Bangalore. The story is very interesting, and the shooting has been done around Bangalore. It can be called a Korean-style Kannada drama movie,” he said.

Actor Shrunga said, “I have played the role of a hotel owner named Adarsha. When I heard the story, I liked it. Very sensitive points are presented humorously. We have shown how boys from other states are, what difficulties they face, how we look at others, and how they get along with us.”

Actress Rini from Chennai, who has performed in Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam movies, played the role of Anu, a North Indian girl in Chilli Chicken. Another actress, Nityashree, mentioned that she appeared as the hero’s girlfriend, Varsha.

The music is composed by Siddhant Sundar, cinematography by Srish Tomar, editing by Ashiq KS, dialogue by Trilok & KAS, story by Siddhant Sundar, Prateek Prajosh & KAS, screenplay by KAS & Prateek Prajosh, and lyrics by Martin Yeo. The cast includes Shrunga BV, Rini, Nityashree, Bijou Tanjim, Victor Thaudam, Jimpa Bhutia, Tomthin Thokchom, and Hirak Sonowal.
