Director and producer Gururaj Kulkarni knows the tricks of the trade. He has crafted an impactful trailer for the publicity of his latest film ‘The Judgement’ – the trailer was unveiled by top producer Uday K Mehta at MMB Legacy in GT World Mall.
Director Gururaj Kulkarni, who spoke first, said that this story was tailor-made for Ravichandran. ‘The Judgement’ falls into the legal thriller genre. Ravichandran’s portrayal as a lawyer in the Kannada film “Yuddha Kanda” remains popular even today. After many years, he reprises the role of a lawyer in this film. The movie boasts a stellar cast including Lakshmi Gopalaswamy, Digant, Dhanya, Meghana Gaonkar, Rangayana Raghu, and Prakash Belawadi. The film has been meticulously crafted with the collaboration of the crew members. It is set to release on May 24 not only in Karnataka but also in Delhi, Mumbai, Lucknow, Goa, Andhra Pradesh, and other parts of the country through the prestigious Reliance Entertainment, he announced.
“I was captivated when the director narrated the story to me. I immediately agreed to act in it. It has been a pleasure working with this team. Typically, my films gain popularity through their songs, but this movie doesn’t feature a single song. The title of this film is ‘The Judgment’, but the audience’s judgement is what matters,” stated actor Ravichandran, a trailblazer of Kannada cinema.
Actors such as Lakshmi Gopalaswamy, Diganth, Dhanya Ramkumar, Meghana Gaonkar, Ravishankar Gowda, Rajendra Karanth, Krishna Hebbale, Rekha Kudlagi, Navila, and many technicians, including cinematographer PKH Das, editor Kempraj, and Vasudeva Murthy, who wrote the screenplay of “The Judgement”, elaborated briefly on their work in the film.
Producers Gururaj Kulkarni (Nad Gowda), Sharad Nad Gowda, Vishwanath Gupta, Ramu Raichur, Rajasekhara Patil, and Pratima Biradar were present at the ceremony. Anoop Seelin has composed the music for this film. Pramod Maravante penned the song, and MS Ramesh penned the dialogue.
