On the auspicious day of the muhurut for the Kannada film ‘Karavali’, featuring Dynamic Prince Prajwal Devaraj, director Gurudut Ganiga (director of Ambi Ning Vayassaytho) introduced a well-built ‘Kona’ (Buffalo) and surprised everyone. It is on this buffalo that the hero sits and participates in the famous Kambala race.
“Karavali” is a movie set amidst coastal cultural celebrations that have already generated huge expectations and curiosity. The film is directed by Gurudutt Ganiga and produced by his own Ganiga Films and VK Film Association.
The movie stars Prajwal Devaraj as the hero. Already, with the poster and teaser of the movie creating a buzz, the film team is now ready to commence shooting after officially wrapping up pre-production. The film’s muhurta was celebrated grandly at the famous Bull Temple in Bangalore. Producer Jack Manju clapped and wished the film crew all the best. Dynamic Devraj switched on the camera.
The film team present in front of the media shared some information about the film. Director and producer Gurudutt Ganiga said, ‘This is a story of the conflict between man and animal. This is a village story.’ He also discussed the challenges of working with animals and the preparations made for the shoot.
Actor Prajwal Devaraj spoke about his shooting experience with Kona. ‘It’s scary to see, but it’s very gentle. Kannada cinema is evolving. After watching the movie’s teaser, everyone expressed their appreciation; the story is very compelling. I really like it. I make movies to bring joy to my fans. It is special that this is my 40th film,’ Prajwal Devaraj added.
Dynamic star Devraj, who graced the launch of his son’s film, not only wished the entire team good luck but also expressed his confidence, saying, ‘Karavali will be the best film in my son’s career.’
Sampada has been selected as the heroine for the movie, and she is a veterinary doctor. Abhimanyu Sadanand’s camera work and Sachin Basrur’s musical scores are part of the film.
Sidlingu Sridhar, GG, Niranjan, and many other famous artists are appearing in the coastal movie. Currently, the film team will commence shooting on the coastal side starting from the 23rd of this month.
