Celebrations abound as the box office sensation, Challenging star Darshan, marks his birthday on February 16. The reasons for his wide grin are aplenty. Firstly, the mega success of ‘Kaatera’ on the OTT platform has sparked immense demand.
Adding to the festivities, the first look of Darshan’s ongoing film, ‘Devil,’ has been unveiled. Furthermore, there’s buzz surrounding his 59th film, announced by a Media House renowned for producing ‘Yajamana’ in the past.
Darshan’s 59th venture revolves around the valorous tale of ‘Veera Sindhura Lakshmana,’ echoing a storyline previously depicted in a 1977 film where the acclaimed actor Sudheera played a pivotal role under Hunsur Krishnamurthy’s direction. Interestingly, Sudheer’s son, Tarun Sudheer, is at the helm of directing Challenging star Darshan for the third time, following their collaborations on ‘Robert’ and ‘Kaatera.’
Smt Shylaja Nag and B Suresh, associated with the Media House, are brimming with happiness over the new project announcement. The saga of ‘Sindhoora Lakshmana’ is set to feature V Harikrishna’s musical compositions.
Meanwhile, the eve of February 15th witnessed a lively celebration at Challenging star Darshan’s residence in Raja Rajeshwari Nagar, marking his 47th birthday. Fans, affectionately dubbed ‘Celebrities’ by Darshan, flocked from various corners to extend their wishes to D Boss. The release of the ‘Devil’ teaser and snippets of dialogues from the film were sufficient to elate his fans.
