The Kannada film ‘Tarini’ has been honored as the best social awareness film in the competition section of the Ayodhya International Film Festival. Produced by Sri Gajani Productions and Dr. Suresh Kotyan Chitrapu, ‘Tarini’ holds significant importance in Mamata Rahut’s film career.
The film revolves around the challenges faced by a pregnant woman, making it a fitting role for Mamata Rahut, who was pregnant in real life during the production. Her authentic portrayal allowed for genuine reactions, effectively captured by the camera.
The cast of ‘Tarini’ includes Rohith, Bhavani Prakash, Vijayalakshmi, Dr. Suresh Kotyan Chitrapu, Sudha Prasanna, Pramila Subramanyam, M. D. Souza, Deepika Gowda, Tejaswini, Shwetha, Manju, and others.
Nagarathna KH handled the costume designing, Ananth Aryan composed the music, and Deepak C served as the editor. Raju Hemmigepura managed the camera, Basavaraj Achar KR was the art director, Nikil Karyappa handled the coloring, Sri Ram was responsible for sound designing, and Pradeep G oversaw special effects in the technical team of ‘Tarini’.
