The third season of the Television Premiere League (TPL) has kicked off its activities with player auctions for this cricket tournament. Following the IPL format, the bidding process was launched at a prestigious hotel, graced by Basavaraj Horatti, the Chairman of the Karnataka Legislative Council, to bless TPL Season 3.
N1 Cricket Academy, under the leadership of BR Sunil Kumar, is overseeing the entire TPL process. The 3rd season of TPL is scheduled to commence in January 2024, with the well-regarded Ragini Dwivedi serving as the brand ambassador.
TPL 3 has selected 150 players through the bidding process, forming 10 teams, including Ashwasorya Riders, Golden Eagle, KKR Media House, Biotop Life Saviours, AVR Tuskers, Rasu Warriors, Bhajarangi Bous, The Bull Squad, Insane Cricket Team, and GLR Warriors.
Title sponsorship for TPL 3 is provided by AVR Groups, with H Venkatesh Reddy and Aravind Venkatesh Reddy taking the helm. The 10 teams are captained by Harsha CM Gowda, Ranjith Kumar, Loose Madha Yogi, Rajesh, Ravishanker Gowda, Faizaan Khan, Sharath Padmanabh, Monish, Bili Gowda, Swastik Arya, Deekshit Shetty, Raghu Bhat, Alakananda Srinivas, Dr. Vishwanath Siddarama Reddy, Arun Ram Gowda, Lakshmikanth Reddy, and Kushal Gowda.
