‘INAMDAR’ A FILM WITH HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE

“Inamdar” serves as the distinctive surname of a specific community, and it also embodies the grace associated with Chatrapathi Shivaji’s son, Sambaji, as conveyed by the team behind the Kannada film “Inamdar: Kappu Sundariya Suttha.” This captivating cinematic creation is not only extending its reach in Kannada but is also making its mark in four other languages: Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam. This historically significant film is set to hit the silver screen on the 27th of this month.

At MMB Legacy the unveiling of the “Inamdar” trailer in the presence of esteemed guests, including Niranjan Shetty Gulvadi, Karunakara Hegde, Pramod Shetty, and Thriller Manju. The action-packed “Inamdar” delves into various facets of history, with allusions to Aurangzeb and Shivaji. Pramod Shetty, in the role of Kalinga, embodies the qualities of Aurangzeb, as affirmed by the film’s director, Santosh Shetty Ajri. It unveils an untold story of our land, shedding light on the time when Shivaji’s son, Sambaji, donated 2500 acres of land. The film also explores the disparities faced in Hukkeri taluk of Belagavi district, against which Chatrapathi Shivaji stood. We are committed to revealing the unvarnished truth, transcending any apprehensions, as stated by the director, Santosh Shetty.

The film highlights the concept of ‘Varna Beda’ and sheds light on atrocities against the downtrodden, as emphasized by the veteran actor, MK Matha. The producer of the film, Niranjan Shetty Tallur, has dedicated immense effort to its production.

Pramod Shetty, seen without his police uniform, adopts the persona of a tribal group, despite politely declining the title of ‘Gatodgaja’ bestowed upon him by the film team. His character advocates for equality.

Ranjan Chatrapathi expressed his eagerness to discuss his debut film, delving into the pages of Chhatrapati Shivaji’s history, emphasizing that the nation’s pride was born in Karnataka.

Renowned action director Thriller Manju not only assumes the role of an investigative officer in the film but has also directed four action sequences.

Actors Karan, Chitrakala (portraying a journalist), Lakshmpirya, and Raghu Pandeshwar have conveyed their satisfaction with their respective roles in the film.
