The director of beloved films such as Srigandha, Rangoli, Aragini, Panchamaveda, Andaman, and more, PH Vishwanath, who has a long association with the iconic director SR Puttanna Kanagal, has taken a new direction in filmmaking to cater to today’s audience. This shift in direction became evident when the trailer for his latest film, ‘Aade Nam God,’ was released, showcasing a humor-packed narrative with double-meaning dialogues—a departure from his usual style.

The unveiling of the ‘Ade Nam God’ trailer was graced by senior journalist and national award winner BN Subramanya, alongside veteran cinema photographer KN Nagesh Kumar at the Renukamba Digital Theater.

Immediately after viewing the trailer, PH Vishwanath clarified his intentions, albeit in a playful manner, by jokingly stating his intention to file a case against the trailer’s editor due to its misleading impression. He emphasized that while the film is indeed entertaining and well-crafted, the selection of dialogues for the trailer was not his preference. PH Vishwanath urged the film’s producer, Prof Basavaraj, to recoup his investment, paving the way for future high-quality productions.

PHV’s latest film, directed by the veteran filmmaker himself, is set to hit screens on October 6th, with screenplay contributions from his son, Akshay. Akshay, who operates a script factory in Mumbai, collaborated with his father on the script and creative aspects, ultimately shaping the film’s climax.

The film project, initiated by retired physics lecturer Prof Basavaraj from Sri Renukacharya College, has been in the works for a decade. This endeavor was primarily undertaken as a tribute to PHV and his team, dedicated to crafting a compelling script. Notably, the two goats featured in the film are currently enjoying a peaceful life on Prof Basavaraj’s farmhouse, and Renuka Basavaraj serves as the film’s official producer.

The cast of the film boasts talented actors from previous hits like Rama Rama Ray and Man of the Match, including Nataraj, Manjunath Jambe, Ajith Boppanahalli, Anoop Shoonya, Sarika Rao, B Suresha, among others.

The film features cinematography by PKH Doss, editing by veteran BS Kemparaj, art direction by Hosmane Murthy, and screenplay and co-direction by Akshay Vishwanath. RK Swaminathan handles the music, while Shashikumar contributes as the background scorer for BBR Films and Everest India Entertainers.
