Dhruva Sarja, the rising star of Kannada cinema, continues to hold his emotions close, even four years after the loss of his elder brother, Chiranjeevi Sarja.

Periodically, he fondly recalls his brother’s lively spirit, cherishing the memories they shared. Just as Ananth Nag stepped in to dub for his younger brother Shanker Nag after his tragic demise in a road accident on September 30, 1990, and Dr. Shivarajakumar filled in for his younger brother Puneeth Rajakumar’s role in ‘James’ after his loss, the same poignant situation now befalls the younger brother due to the loss of his elder sibling. In both of these instances, the elder brothers took on the task of dubbing for their younger brothers’ unfinished films.

Dhruva Sarja, known for his string of successful films including ‘Addhuri,’ ‘Bharjari,’ ‘Bombat,’ and his current project, ‘Martin,’ dedicated one and a half years to complete the dubbing for his late brother Chiranjeevi Sarja’s portions in ‘Raja Marthanda.’

The process was time-consuming, as Dhruva had to meticulously synchronize his performance with the on-screen scenes and convey the intended emotions for his brother’s role. He reminisced about how his brother Chiru had prepared dialogues for ‘Raja Marthanda’ at home and went to the shoot with dedication. Dhruva even highlighted a scene where he had to provide the sound of a kiss, which he executed with genuine enthusiasm. To him, life feels incomplete without his beloved brother, Chiranjeevi Sarja.

According to Dhruva Sarja, the most meaningful tribute he can offer to his late brother Chiranjeevi is by completing the dubbing for this film. He fervently hopes that ‘Raja Marthanda’ receives recognition and that the Kannada audience pays their final respects to his brother by watching this heartfelt film.
