From a very young age, Ruthu Sparsha, an accomplished specialist in the art world, has amassed numerous international awards and earned a black belt in her field.

At the age of 10, Ruthu Sparsha, a taekwondo prodigy, stands as the central figure in the Kannada film ‘Taekwondo Girl.’ This film narrates the story of a determined young girl’s struggle for education while mastering the art of taekwondo without compromising her education. It serves as an exemplary tale for the youth of today.

Commencing her journey at the age of 3 and currently studying in the 5th standard, Ruthu Sparsha has participated in eight competitions, emerging victorious in four international events, all while achieving the prestigious black belt.

Dr. Sumitha Praveen, Ruthu’s mother, serves as her primary source of inspiration. She emphasizes that the film’s message extends beyond just safeguarding her daughter; it should resonate with everyone, promoting safety and security. Dr. Sumitha Praveen is also the film’s producer, and Praveen Bhanu, Ruthu’s father, has provided unwavering support for her endeavors.

Ravindra Vamshis, director of the Kannada film ‘Putani Safari,’ has ventured into martial arts, specifically Taekwondo, as part of his directorial journey. He envisions this as a family-oriented film, suitable for both children and adults, with plans to screen it for schoolchildren.

The film features nearly 200 impressive Taekwondo stunts, accompanied by the musical composition of MS Thyagaraj. This project is expected to follow in the footsteps of successful films like ‘Chak De India’ and ‘Dangal,’ as opined by the music director.

The film’s songs were unveiled by veteran actor Ganesh Rao, and preparations are in full swing for its release in September this year.
