The accomplished filmmaker S. Narayan, known for directing nearly 48 films, and also renowned as an actor, producer, and distributor, has ended his silence to helm a movie featuring the handsome hero Shreyas Manju, the son of the veteran producer K. Manju.
Producer K. Manju and S. Narayan have previously collaborated on notable projects, with “Jamindaaru,” a Kannada film starring Dr. Vishnuvardhana in the dual roles of ‘Bettappa and Biligiri,’ standing out as one of their best works. In 2011, their joint directorial venture ‘Shyloo,’ starring the golden star Ganesh, marked their last collaboration as two renowned producers and directors. After a hiatus of 12 years, K. Manju has invited S. Narayan to direct a film with his son Shreyas Manju in the lead role.
The auspicious muhurat ceremony for the film ‘Ondsala Meet Madona’ took place at the sacred temple in Chickmagaluru. National award-winning actor Thara Anuradha, MLA D. Thammaiah, and Mahadeva graced the event as guests.
The film’s concept revolves around a love story and a delightful journey. The shooting will commence in Chickmagaluru and then move to various locations, including Sakaleshpura, Virajpete, Kannur, Mysuru, Bengaluru, Belagavi, and Goa, as the film is travel-centric.
‘Isha Productions BP Thyagaraj’ presents this film on screen, representing a collaborative effort between the esteemed producer K. Manju and another prominent producer, Ramesh Yadav, who have joined forces for this venture.
S. Narayan has not only taken on the director’s role but has also penned the screenplay, dialogues, and songs for the film. The music score is composed by Jassie Gift, Kumar Gowda is in charge of the camera work, Shivaprasad is handling the editing, Arjun is responsible for the stunts, Santhu is the choreographer, and Anand is in charge of the art direction, forming the core technical team of the film.
Brinda Achar, known for her roles in ‘Premam Poojyam,’ ‘Juliet 2,’ and the recent film ‘Kausalya Supraja Rama,’ plays the female lead opposite Shreyas Manju.
The supporting cast includes Thara Anuradha, Sharat Lohitashva, Sadhu Kokila, Pramod Shetty, Kalyani, Rangayana Raghu, Pavagada Manju, Jayaram, Sujay Shastri, Giri, and many others.
