Celebrating his birthday, Roopesh Shetty, the acclaimed victor of the Big Boss crown and a prominent figure in the Tulu cinema domain (whose recent venture, “Circus,” achieved considerable success), has made an astute selection by enlisting popular actor Jahnavi, celebrated for her role in the comedy show “Gichcha Giligili,” as the female protagonist for his upcoming film “Adhipatra.”
The enigmatic title itself piques curiosity and as the filming progresses under the guidance of Chayan Shetty, KR Cine Combines is gradually unraveling the intriguing facets of this production.
Roopesh Shetty, who has made his mark across various aspects of Tulu cinema, has once again demonstrated his versatility as he assumes the role of director. Anticipation had been building since his triumphant Bigg Boss win, and it has now materialized.
Notably, Roopesh Shetty previously took the helm for the Tulu film “Circus,” both directing and starring in the lead role, while also producing the movie. It is worth mentioning that “Circus” enjoyed resounding success not only within Karnataka but also in other regions, with its release spanning over 150 screens.
The eagerly awaited “Adhipatra,” Roopesh Shetty’s latest endeavor, is set to commence production in September 2023.
