Nick Thurlow’s inclusion in the team of ‘Vrushaba,’ the Pan India film starring Malayalam superstar Mohan Lal, brings enhanced value to the project. Known for his contributions to Hollywood as a filmmaker, Nick Thurlow has produced and co-produced notable films such as Moonlight and Three Billboards Ebbing, Missouri. His role in ‘Vrushaba’ is as an executive producer, marking his first association with an Indian film.
The movie starring Mohan Lal and Roshan Meka embodies a Hollywood-style approach to filmmaking. A 57-second teaser video has already been released, generating significant buzz for ‘Vrushaba,’ which will be available in Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil languages.
According to producer Vishal Gurnani, Nick Thurlow’s involvement has heightened the film’s grandeur. ‘Vrushaba,’ helmed by acclaimed Kannada director Nandakishore, promises to be a blend of action and sentiment.
The cast includes not only Mohan Lal and Roshan Meka but also Kannada actor Ragini Dwivedi, Shanaya Kapoor, Jahra S Khan, Srikanth Meka, and others. The movie’s visual effects are anticipated to set a new benchmark.
Set to be a major release in early 2024, ‘Vrushaba’ is a collaboration between Connekkt Media, Balaji Telefilms, and AVS Studios. The film is directed by Nanda Kishore and produced by Abhishek Vyas, Vishal Gurnani, Juhi Parekh Mehta, Shyam Sunder (First Step Movies), Ektaa R Kapoor, Shobha Kapoor (Balaji Telefilms), and Varun Mathur, Saurabh Mishra (Connekkt Media). It is being shot concurrently in Telugu and Malayalam and is scheduled for release in Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi, Kannada, and Tamil languages.
