The film “Naguge Vadhu Bekagide”, which explores the growing difficulty faced by men in finding suitable brides, is set to release this October.

Written and directed by R.K., the film is produced under the banner of Sri Guru Raghavendra Kannada Cinemas. The story reflects the current situation in both urban and rural areas, where various expectations and conditions are cited as reasons for the delay in marriages.

According to director R.K., many prospective brides expect the groom to have a government job, no parents—especially no mother-in-law—and a house or site in Bengaluru. Inspired by situations he has closely observed, he has made the film based on real-life incidents. The film was shot across Bengaluru, Mandya, Mysuru, Chamarajanagar, Maddur and Ramanagara.

The trailer and songs have already been released and have received appreciation. The team is now preparing for an October release.

Dattu Poojari plays the lead role, with Sonika Somanna, Chitral Rangaswamy, Apoorvashree, Rekha Das and Bow Bow Biryani Jayaram among the cast.

Dattu Poojari said he liked the story narrated by the director and plays a character named Nagu, who is unmarried in the film, although he is married in real life.

Apoorvashree, Chitral Rangaswamy, Sonika Somanna, Sharath, Ravi and Puneeth spoke about their respective roles, while music director Srisuresh shared details about the film’s music.
