The first schedule of ‘Original Monster’ (OM), directed by R. Chandru, produced by RC Studios, and starring Karunada Chakravarthy Shivarajkumar in the lead, has been completed.
After the pan-India success of Kabzaa, R. Chandru is returning to direction after two-and-a-half years with ‘Original Monster’. Presented by Anand Pandit and produced by Yamuna Chandru under RC Studios, the film is being made simultaneously in Kannada and Hindi.
The title launch was held in Mumbai and the muhurat ceremony took place in Bengaluru. The first schedule was completed without any hurdles on elaborate sets erected in Bengaluru. Shivarajkumar, Telugu actor Sunil, and several other artistes participated in this schedule. The team is now preparing for the second schedule.
The R. Chandru–Shivarajkumar combination previously delivered the successful ‘Mylari’, while Shivarajkumar also made a special appearance in Chandru’s ‘Kabzaa’. Their reunion in ‘Original Monster’ has already created considerable curiosity.
Ajaneesh Loknath is composing the music, while A.J. is the cinematographer. The film will feature popular artistes from different languages. R. Chandru said more details about the film will be announced in the coming days.
