Golden Star Ganesh shares an emotional connection with the old Kapali Theatre, now renovated as AMB Multiplex. His film Cheluvina Chittara, directed by S. Narayan and starring Ganesh and Amulya, completed a successful 27-week run at Kapali, becoming a memorable chapter in his career.
At the TOSS trailer launch, presented by Golden Movies and directed and headlined by Arjun Dev, a huge crowd gathered outside AMB Multiplex to catch a glimpse of their favorite star.
The event featured a screening of the remaining songs and content from the film. Ganesh, Arjun Dev, music director Manikanth Kadri and producer Doreyra joined Anushree on stage, where they formally launched the event and unveiled the trailer.
The trailer suggests that TOSS combines love, romance, politics, gangster mafia, a mother’s emotions and the bond between a father and son.
Speaking to the media, Ganesh explained why he presented the film under Golden Movies. He said he is a passionate film lover and wants to support new teams and good films through collaboration, adding that such associations bring positive energy to the industry.
Ganesh also praised Arjun Dev, describing him as a talented actor-director and a pride of Mangaluru and Coastal wood. He said he would be open to working with Arjun Dev when a good story comes along. Arjun Dev expressed gratitude to Ganesh and Shilpa Ganesh for supporting his film and said the backing gave the team tremendous strength. He promised that TOSS, releasing on September 18, would entertain audiences while taking them into an emotional world.
Music director Manikanth Kadri praised Arjun Dev’s work and expressed confidence that the songs of TOSS would receive a good response.
TOSS will release across Karnataka in 30 single-screen theatres and 40 multiplexes, while the Tulu version will release in 10 theatres.
