Shri Hayavadana Foundation, which has been conducting socially relevant initiatives such as education and skill development, medical assistance, and public health awareness, has now released two devotional video albums.
One is “Rajara Bhagyavidu,” featuring nine devotional songs composed by Bhavasameera Shri Vadiraja Swamiji, with musical composition and vocals by Smt. Divyagiridhar. The other is “Dashavatara Stuti,” a devotional presentation rendered by Kum. Brinda and Pranati Katti.
At a function held at Jayarama Seva Mandali in Jayanagar, Shri Vishwavallabha Tirtha Shripadangalavaru of Sode Matha formally released the two video albums. He also unveiled the printed edition of the work.
While delivering his blessings, Shri Vishwavallabha Tirtha Shripadangalavaru said that only through pure devotion can one attain the grace of the Almighty. There are lakhs of Haridasa compositions. The Haridasas sang kirtanas in Kannada so that even ordinary people could understand the stories of the Lord, the Vedas, and the Puranas. Apart from Kannada, Shri Vadiraja’s works are also available in other languages. He had mastery over many languages. His vision was that language should never become a barrier to devotion and surrender.
He further said that Praveen Katti, through his Hayavadana Foundation, has now undertaken a remarkable initiative by releasing the nine-song audio album “Rajara Bhagyavidu.” All nine songs are extremely rare. In addition, Brinda and Pranati Katti have beautifully rendered the hymn composed by Vadiraja in praise of his presiding deity, Hayagriva. He expressed hope that the Foundation would bring out many more such works in the future and assured it of his complete support.
