SWATHISHTA JOINS NIRUP BHANDARI ATIKAYA

It is already known that ‘Rangi Taranga’ fame Nirup Bhandari will be seen in the avatar of “Atikaya.” The latest news is that Swathishta Krishnan has been cast opposite Nirup. Originally from Dharwad, Swathishta has earned recognition in Kannada, Tamil, and Telugu. Having proved her mettle with films such as the Tamil movies Savarakathi and Vikram, the Telugu film Gunde Katha Vintara, and the Kannada films Ondu Sarala Premakathe and Rakkasapuradol, Swathishta is now all set to shine in “Atikaya.”


Until now, Nirup Bhandari has been seen in chocolate boy and lover boy avatars. Now, he has made an entry in a rugged look. He has faced the camera in a blood-soaked appearance. This time, he is gearing up to appear in the avatar of “Atikaya.” In this complete mass entertainer, he will be seen in a rugged role, sporting a completely different look.


Director Nagaraj Peenya, who had earlier helmed unique films such as Pade Pade and Namak Haram, is returning after a brief gap to direct “Atikaya.” This time, Nagaraj has entered the arena with a fresh story, and the film team is now preparing for the final schedule of shooting. Most of the filming so far has taken place in the busy localities of Bengaluru, and it has reportedly been shot in a realistic manner to ensure authenticity.


“For this film, Nirup Bhandari has undergone extensive preparation. He has worked out and built his physique. He has also changed his get-up for the role. Through Atikaya, he will appear in a look that audiences have never seen before. Even his dialogue delivery will be different. Overall, he will be seen in a completely transformed avatar. The film itself will be highly rugged. Likewise, Swathishta’s role is also very different. She is not just the heroine but an integral part of the story,” explains director Nagaraj Peenya.


The film is being produced under the banners of A.N. Movie Makers and Nihal Movies, and is presented by J. Mahesh Kumar. The cast also includes Harish Rai, Dinesh Mangaluru, B. Suresh, Cockroach Sudhi, Vajradheer Jain, Vardhan Theerthahalli, Mahanthesh, and Jack Jolly. The film has cinematography by Udayleela, editing by Srinivas P. Babu, and music composed by Sachin Basrur.
