The temporary injunction imposed by a city civil court on the release of Boss, produced under the Siri Productions banner and directed by V. Lava, has been vacated. The film stars Tanush Shivanna in the lead role and is also produced by him.
Earlier, actor Darshan and his wife Vijayalakshmi Darshan had approached the civil court seeking to restrain the release of Boss. Based on their petition, the court had issued a temporary injunction order against the film.
During a recent hearing, the court examined the arguments and counterarguments presented in the case and subsequently set aside the temporary injunction imposed on the film.
Senior advocate and Advocates’ Association President Vivek Subba Reddy represented Boss in the matter and presented arguments before the court. After considering the submissions, the court permitted the release of the film.
Addressing a press conference, producer-actor Tanush Shivanna and director V. Lava stated that the legal hurdles affecting the film’s release had been cleared following the court’s order, paving the way for its release.
