Second film by “Tagaru Palya” fame director Umesh K Krupa was launched at Bande Mahakali Temple recently.
Dhanush, known for the serial “Puttakkana Makkalu”, plays the lead role in this film produced by Nagesh Vastar. .
Released two years ago, “Tagaru Palya” was appreciated by audiences as well as critics. Umesh K Krupa was the director of that film.
The muhurat ceremony of his current untitled new film, being produced by Nagesh Vastar under the Akanksha Productions banner, was held on Friday morning at Bande Mahakali Temple. Members of the film team were present on the occasion.
Director Umesh Krupa said this is my second directorial film has now been launched. Nagesh Vastar is investing in this new untitled film, for which I have written the story, screenplay, and dialogues. The film has cinematography by S K Rao, music by Palani D Senapathi, editing by Madhu Thumbakere, action direction by Arjun Raj, and art direction by A Satish. H Jagadish Rao is serving as the executive producer for this new project. The story itself is the hero of this film. Like my previous film, this movie too will feature a large ensemble of experienced actors.
Dhanush, who has become well known through the role of ‘Kanthi’ in the serial ‘Puttakkana Makkalu’, and Manasvi, who has acted in a few serials and films, are playing the lead roles.
Selection of the remaining cast is still underway. This is a story rooted in our land. It is a wholesome family entertainer with all the elements audiences expect, including love, comedy, and sentiment. Also, rain plays an important role in this film. That is why we were waiting for the monsoon season to begin shooting.
Filming will commence from next week. The first schedule of shooting will take place in Thirthahalli, Agumbe, Karkala, Chikkamagaluru, and surrounding locations,” said director Umesh K Krupa.
