Veteran film journalist S. Jagadish Kumar, who has been consistently observing the growth of the Kannada film industry for the past three decades and bringing behind-the-scenes stories of the silver screen to the public, has now added another prestigious feather to his cap. He has been chosen for this year’s ‘Dwarakish Memorial Award’ presented by the Karnataka Working Journalists Association.
The award was presented at the recent grand journalists’ convention held in Bidar, in the presence of U. T. Khader, Speaker of Legislative Assembly, Leader of opposition R. Ashoka, and Forest Minister Eshwar Khandre.
Whether it was live shows or large-scale film award events, Jagadish’s organizational skills always stood out. In print media, he earned popularity through his long association with the newspaper ‘Ee Sanje’. Adapting to the digital era, he now serves as the editor of the web portal ‘Cini Suddi’, delivering the latest film news.
