Cash registers are ringing as expected, and the Kannada film industry has found its much-anticipated success in Love Mocktail 3. Produced and directed by Darling Krishna, who also plays the lead, the film is currently running successfully across the state.
To celebrate this achievement, the film team organized a success meet at MMB Legacy in GT Mall. What made the event special was the presence of everyone who had been part of Darling Krishna’s journey, from the first installment of Love Mocktail to Love Mocktail 3.
At the event, Darling Krishna and his wife, Milana Nagaraj, expressed their gratitude to the film team, the promotional crew, and the audience for being the driving force behind their continued success.
Speaking on the occasion, Supreeth from KVN Productions, which handled the distribution of Love Mocktail 3, said, “This is the first hit film of the year. Darling Krishna showed us the film a few days before its release. Love Mocktail 3 arrived at the right time, filling the gap left by Toxic. With an excellent audience response, it has emerged victorious. Bookings have also opened strongly in countries like the USA, Australia, and Germany,” he shared, bringing खुशी to the entire team.
The central figures of the event, Darling Krishna and Milana Nagaraj, jointly thanked everyone who contributed to the film’s tremendous success. Milana Nagaraj specifically appreciated the promoters, including those in digital media, and acknowledged the entire team, which she described as family. “We were happy when Parts 1 and 2 succeeded, but the success of the third installment has made me emotional. The audience’s response has truly filled my heart,” she said.
Darling Krishna added, “We move forward with careful planning. We do not choose anyone out of obligation. Everyone in our team has earned their place purely based on talent, and we have utilized that talent. So, no one in the team really needs to thank us.” He also hinted at future plans, stating that they aim to produce one film every year under the Krish Me banner.
Director Shashank, who attended as a guest, remarked, “In today’s times, even holding a success meet for a film feels encouraging. Since the beginning of this year, the Kannada film industry has been going through a somewhat discouraging phase. At such a time, the success of Love Mocktail 3 has brought new energy to the industry. This is not just a victory for the film team; it is a victory for the entire industry.”
On the same stage, Rachel David, Amrutha Iyengar, Jagadish—popularly known as ‘Jagga Mummy’, Samvrutha, Darling Krishna’s father Nagappa, and cinematographer-editor Sri Crazy Minds, along with others, shared memorable moments from their Love Mocktail journey.
Darling Krishna’s father, Nagappa, a former police officer, recounted Krishna’s childhood and spoke about his unwavering belief in his son. He explained that Krishna’s growth as an actor, writer, producer, and director is the result of his strong determination and mindset.
