Journalist and actor Yathiraj has completed the script pooja for his seventh directorial venture and has begun working on the screenplay. He has recently been appearing more in television serials while continuing his work in filmmaking.
The script pooja was held on the occasion of the Ugadi festival at the Prashantha Ganapathi Temple in Prashanthanagar, Bengaluru. The ceremony was conducted in a simple manner, following which the team has begun searching for artists.
The film is being presented by Suni Vini and produced under the Vruddhi Enterprises banner, with T.R. Chetan as the producer.
Yathiraj is venturing into a horror-based storyline for the first time with this project. The film is said to feature a new kind of story, combining horror elements with comedy and emotional content, with greater emphasis on the intensity of these aspects.
The yet-untitled film is scheduled to begin shooting in May and is currently looking for suitable talent. Vijay Harits, who previously composed music for Yathiraj’s film ‘Sanju,’ has joined the project again as music composer. Dialogues are being written by Srikanth. Sudheendra Venkatesh is handling publicity design, and Arun Kumar is working as co-director. The selection of other technicians and cast members is currently underway.
