The trailer of the film “Calendar,” starring Adarsh Gunduraj, has been released on the occasion of Ugadi. Adarsh Gunduraj had earlier acted as a lead in two films, including “Swartha Ratna.” The film is scheduled to release on April 3. Members of the film team spoke following the trailer launch.
Speaking on the occasion, Adarsh Gunduraj said that Ugadi marks the beginning of the New Year and releasing the trailer of “Calendar” during this time is significant. He stated that the film is women-centric and is suitable for family viewing. He plays the role of a doctor in the film. The film features a multi-starrer cast, with Nivishka Patil and Sushmita as the female leads. Malashree appears in a special role. The cast also includes Ramesh Indira, Pramod Shetty, Prakash Tuminadu, Suchendra Prasad, and Chandraprabha.
The film’s music is composed by Sunad Gowtham, with cinematography by Ramesh Koyira. Action direction is handled by Vikram Mor, known for his work in “KGF,” while choreography is by Bhajarangi Mohan. Editing is done by Suresh Armugam, and Mahanthesh R serves as co-director. Adarsh Gunduraj has written the story, and the film is directed by Naveen Shakti. The film is being distributed by V.K. Films. It will also be dubbed and released in Hindi. A press meet for the film was recently held in Mumbai.
Director Naveen Shakti said that he comes from a theatre background and has performed in over 5,000 street plays. He added that this is his first film as a director and that the film has been completed with the support of the team.
Lead actress Sushmita and co-producer and actor Shivapradeep also spoke about the film “Calendar.”
