A special music album titled Nyaya–Anyaaya, based on the professional lives of lawyers who work for truth and justice within the judicial system, was released today (February 23). The album is described as the first in Indian music history to be entirely dedicated to the legal profession.

The song focuses on the role of lawyers as key contributors to the justice delivery system. It portrays lawyers not merely as individuals in black coats, but as representatives of hope for their clients, who spend long hours in court corridors and among case files, often setting aside their personal lives to secure justice for those affected by injustice. The album attempts to highlight their service, commitment and professional challenges.

The concept for the album has been developed by noted Karnataka-based advocate Sri Narayanaswamy G, who has undertaken the initiative out of regard for his professional community. He has also appeared in the song.

Music for the album has been composed by Manasa Holla, with an approach that reflects both the gravity of justice and the intensity of legal struggle. The lyrics have been written and rendered by Karibasava Tadakal. The song has been directed by Jeevan Hallikaar, who has visually depicted the professional challenges faced by lawyers.

The album also seeks to underline the importance of justice, ethics and the rule of law, while reflecting the spirit of the Constitution and the responsibilities carried by members of the legal fraternity.

Speaking about the release, Sri Narayanaswamy G said that although the legal profession involves stress and challenges, the satisfaction of securing justice is significant. He stated that the Nyaya–Anyaaya album has been brought out to inspire the community and to enhance public respect for lawyers.
