‘HRIDAYAM’ FILM LAUNCHED AT BANDE MAHANKALAMMA TEMPLE

PUC and Udaala fame actor Pruthvi Shamanur is now preparing to return to the screen with another youthful love story. The film is titled Hridayam. Rajath Suryavanshi, who has been associated with the direction department of the Kannada film industry for over a decade, is stepping into direction for the first time by helming this film. Sridevi L.K. is producing the film under the Pranith Pictures Productions banner.

The muhurat ceremony of Hridayam was held at the Sri Bande Mahankalamma Temple in Bengaluru. Actor Naveen Shankar clapped for the first shot of the film and conveyed his wishes. Director Yogaraj Bhat and lyricist Dr. Nagendra Prasad, who attended as chief guests, extended their best wishes to the team.

Speaking at the press meet held after the muhurat, director Rajath Suryavanshi said that he has worked as an assistant director with Nandakishore for the past 12 years on films such as Victory and Adhyaksha. He stated that Hridayam is his first directorial venture and is a feel-good love story. Based on a real incident, the film narrates a college love story set between 2000 and 2006. He said the film depicts how love and romantic relationships unfolded among 22–23-year-old college students during that period. The shooting is planned to begin in the first week of March and will take place in Bengaluru, Mysuru, Mangaluru, Madikeri, and Kerala. The film will feature five songs, with music composed by Chetan Davy. Aaradhana Bhat plays the female lead, Ramesh Indira appears as the heroine’s father, Ravibhat and Swathi play the hero’s parents, and Sooraj (of Comedy Khiladigalu fame) plays the friend’s role, he added.

Actor Pruthvi Shamanur said that this is his fourth film since Padhavi Poorva. He mentioned that the earlier film was a teenage love story, while Hridayam is a pure love story set in 2006. He said the story is very good and that he is playing the role of a college student in the film.

Speaking next, actress Aaradhana Bhat said she had previously participated in Mahanati on television and that Hridayam is her second film. She said she was very happy after listening to the story and that she plays a college girl with three shades in the film.

Producer Sridevi L.K. said that the story developed by the director is very good, which is why they decided to go ahead with the production of the film. The film has cinematography by Sagar, dialogues by Rajath, Upendra, and Manoj, and lyrics by Nagendra Prasad, Pramod Maravante, and Dhananjay.
