Under the DJ Prakash Cine Production banner, the trailer release ceremony of the film “Soori Anna”, produced and directed by actor Dinesh Kumar of Salaga Soori Anna fame, was held at Hyde Park Hotel. This is the last film acted in by late Harish Rai, and it was special that the trailer was launched by his wife Aarti herself.


Speaking on the occasion, Lahari Audio’s Velu wished Dinesh, who is celebrating his birthday today, a happy birthday. He said that the film is releasing on February 20 and that the trailer has come out very well.

Harish Rai’s wife Aarti, who released the trailer, said, “Even I did not know that this would be my husband’s last film. This film will definitely do well. I thank everyone from the film industry who supported us during difficult times. My husband was thinking only about cinema till the very end. My son has grown up now and he needs your support. Please do not forget us,” she appealed.


Actor Praveen said that he has played a character called Bat in this film and was the lead in Marigudda. He added that Vishva’s contribution to this film is very significant. “He is not physically with us, but he will always remain in our hearts,” he said.


Jack Jolly said that he has done a one-day cameo role in the film for Soori Anna. He said the trailer has come out excellently and that the film will definitely be a success.


Prasad said that he has been in the film industry for the past 25 years and has trained gyms for many stars. “I have never appeared on screen before. It was Soori who gave me a role,” he said.


Actor Kamaraj (the Tamil I movie villain) said that this is the fifth film he has acted in, including Kabza and Ghost. “Wherever I go, people talk about Kannada cinema,” he said.


Hero-director Soori Anna said that ‘Soori Anna’ is releasing on February 20 and that he has struggled for the past six years for this film. “The film carries a good message for society. Jayanna of Jayanna Films is releasing the film and has been giving us great support. Through former rowdies, I have conveyed a message to youth. I have shown that no one should come into this rowdyism. Please support us,” he requested.


Actress Chitraal said that Soori has worked very hard for this film. She said the song Neenanne Devathe has gone very viral and that she loves raw roles. “After Om, this is a film in which real rowdies have acted. It is a film with an excellent message,” she said.


Heroine Sambhrama Sri said that Soori Anna sold his house and land for this film. She added that a good message has been conveyed to youth through dons.


Stunt director Jaguar Sannappa, editor Vishva, BGM composer Sridhar Kashyap, Ranjith, and Benaka Nanjappa spoke about the film.


The film stars Soori Anna, Sambhrama Sri, Baby Mareesh, Harish Rai, Ravikale, Kamaraj, SK Umesh, Honnavalli Krishna, Prakash Tuminad, Rekha Das, Cockroach Sudhi, Vinay Gowda, Jolly Jack, Prasad Kumar, and former gangsters Motta Kanna, Jedaralli Krishnappa, Zebra, Lokesh, Kala Pathar, Yashaswini Gowda, Vedi Anna, and Gadda Naga.


The film will be released on February 20 by Jayanna Films’ Jayanna in more than 150 theatres
