“SHREE JAGANNATHADASARU PART 2” TO RELEASE ON JANUARY 30

The Kannada film Shree Jagannathadasaru Part 2, produced and directed by Madhusudan Havaldar, is scheduled to release in theatres on January 30. A press meet was organised to share details about the film, during which members of the film team spoke.

Madhusudan Havaldar has been presenting the life histories of well-known Haridasas of the state through cinema. He has previously directed films based on Haridasas such as Shree Jagannathadasaru, Shree Vijayadasaru, Shree Mahipatidasaru, and Shree Prasannavenkatadasaru. His current directorial venture, Shree Jagannathadasaru Part 2, is a continuation of the earlier film.

Speaking at the press meet, Madhusudan Havaldar said that the first part, Shree Jagannathadasaru, was made five years ago with the support of friends and went on to gain recognition not only in Karnataka but also internationally. He thanked those who were part of that journey. He stated that the sequel will also release on January 30 and expressed hope that the support shown to the first part would continue. The film will be released across Karnataka initially, followed by overseas screenings in the coming weeks. He also mentioned plans to make the life of Jagannathadasaru as a five-part film series.

Actor Sharath Joshi said that he is grateful for the response received for the first part of Shree Jagannathadasaru and requested similar support for the second part.

Music director and singer Raichur Sheshagiridas said that composing music for the film was a new experience for him and that working alongside Madhusudan Havaldar made the process easier. He added that the songs in the film have been sung by himself, Anantharaj Mistry, Madhusudan Havaldar, and others.

J.M. Prahlad, who has written the story and dialogues, spoke about the commencement and development of the second part of the film.

Actors Vishnutheertha Joshi, Nishchith Shetty, Pushkar Deshpande, Sachin Purohit, Vasanth, Gururaj, Narayan Kulkarni, Vijay Bhaskar, Srilatha, and others were present at the press meet and spoke about the film and their roles.
