AMB Cinemas, a South India–based multiplex chain, is set to inaugurate its new branch in Bengaluru on January 16, 2026. The company, which currently operates in Hyderabad, is expanding its presence to Bengaluru with this opening.
The new AMB Cinemas multiplex is located at Kapali Mall near the historic Majestic Circle in the city. The multiplex is spread across five floors of the mall and consists of a total of nine screens.
Barco laser projection technology has been installed in Screens 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, and 9 to provide enhanced visual clarity and color output.
Screen 6 has been designated as a Dolby Cinema screen and is equipped with a Christie 6K Dolby Vision projector along with an immersive sound system. According to the organisers, this is the first Dolby Cinema screen in South India.
To provide additional viewing options, AMB Cinemas has introduced an exclusive seating and lounge area named ‘M-Lounge’. The multiplex also offers a dedicated food and beverage section with selected menu options for moviegoers.
