“CULT” SPARKS CURIOSITY RIGHT FROM THE TRAILER

The trailer of the Kannada film Cult has created curiosity among audiences. The film stars Zaid Khan in the lead role and is scheduled for release on January 23.

The trailer of Cult, directed by Anil Kumar—known for films including Upadhyaksha—was released by K. Venkat Narayan of KVN Productions. The film features Rachita Ram and Malaika as the female leads. The trailer was launched on the Anand Audio YouTube channel and has received attention from viewers. The film will be released across Karnataka on January 23. Cult is produced by Loki under the Loki Cinemas banner. Members of the film team addressed the media following the trailer release.

Actor Zaid Khan said he liked the story narrated by director Anil Kumar and stated that it is relevant to today’s youth. He said he was happy to act alongside Rachita Ram and mentioned that the performances of all the actors, including Malaika, are good. He also spoke about the work of the technical team and said the songs composed by Arjun Janya have already been released. He added that the trailer is receiving responses and confirmed that the film will release on January 23. Zaid Khan also said that ahead of the release, he travelled more than 19,000 kilometres across Karnataka, visiting several places to promote the film, and spoke about the response he received from the public.

Director Anil Kumar said Cult is a Kannada film made by Kannadigas for Kannadigas. He stated that the film is intended for both the youth and their parents and said it includes human values and emotions. He explained that Zaid Khan’s character appears in three shades, while Rachita Ram’s character appears in two shades. He added that the film has been completed with the cooperation of the cast and technicians and requested audience support.

Actress Rachita Ram said her role has two shades, one of which is shown in the trailer, while the other will be revealed in the film. She said Rangayana Raghu has played her father’s role and stated that Zaid Khan’s performance does not feel like that of a newcomer. She reminded that the film will release on January 23.

Actress Malaika said director Anil Kumar narrated the story to her after Upadhyaksha and that she liked it. She said she travelled across Karnataka for three months along with Zaid Khan for the film’s promotion and spoke about his involvement in Kannada film promotions. She also mentioned working with Rachita Ram and Rangayana Raghu.

Actor Rangayana Raghu said this is his second film with director Anil Kumar and that he has played the role of Rachita Ram’s father in Cult.

Producer Loki, KVN Productions’ Supreeth, Anand Audio’s Shyam and Anand, stunt director Ravi Varma, and actors Alok, Kishan and others associated with the film were also present and spoke about the movie.
