68TH KANNADA RAJYOTSAVA AWARDS CELEBRATE EXCELLENCE

The 68th Kannada Rajyotsava Award was recently announced by Kannada and Culture Minister Shivaraj Thangadagi.

Distinguished actors with over four decades of experience, Dingri Nagaraj and Bank Janardhan, have been honored for their outstanding contributions to Kannada cinema. Additionally, in the ‘Sankeerna division,’ Mimicry Dayanand has received a rare accolade. Mimicry Dayanand, who also belongs to the cinema industry, is renowned for his expertise in mimicry, and his participation in reality shows has earned him well-deserved recognition.

This year’s Kannada Rajyotsava award includes a cash prize of Rs. 5 lakhs, a 25-gram gold medal, and a citation from Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. The award ceremony is scheduled to take place on November 1st during a grand event.

The 68th Rajyotsava year celebration will commence on November 1st throughout Karnataka, honoring 68 outstanding individuals from various fields, as recognized by the Karnataka state government.

Among the 68 recipients, 54 men, 13 women, and 1 transgender, all of whom are being recognized for their exceptional achievements. Notably, two of the awardees have reached the remarkable milestone of 100 years of age.
