Some films make a loud noise, please the audience, fill the maker’s pockets and welcome a series of few more following a pattern. There are even some that just drop; takes their course to reach and just disappear. Despite of it being potential to fit the bill, the relatively new concept fades off of the “used to” audience of any industry.
While we talk about content, We are bringing you the recommendation about a recent drop on Prime Video – “Thurthu Nirgamana” – a Kannada film starring Sunil Rao, Raj B. Shetty, Sudha Rani, Achyuth Kumar, Hitha Chandrasheka, Samyuktha Hegde, Aruna Balraj, Nagendra Shah and others. This film had hit the screens with less sound but was received and praised well. Here are the 5 reasons to watch this unique film as we believe missing out on this is nothing but regret.
1. Realistic Fiction
This film is a classic example of potential content which is sort of a need; observing the recent developments in the cinema. Keeping the stardom and extravagant factors aside, the film is honest with the fantasy-drama genre and makes sure to deliver everything it ought to. “Everyone dies but not everyone knows how to live” is the ground statement of this content which all of us can contemplate with.
2. Technical Efforts
The design and VFX of this film are detailed and innovative. Creating a never seen before 22-second of 360-degree hyper-lapse, which was photographed over a period of 10 days at a stretch of 1500+ km is an effort to be experienced visually. The editing and sound design are made to blend nicely into the film’s storyline. The music and background score is a true elevator for the narrative.
3. Next door characters and Common emotions
While the film being an extremely fictional fantasy, it does not shy away from providing you the warmth. The characters of this film are common and the moments weaved around them are very relatable. This film casts some of the great and versatile actors from the industry who have aptly delivered their bit.
4. Making and Execution
We may have swallowed a lot of global films touching the “time loop” concept, it is still a fresh thing in the Kannada industry. The attempt to make a film like this is truly daring. Kudos to the director Hemanth Kumar and the makers to get it right on their first film.
5. Mirror to the Millenials
While watching the protagonist stuck in the loop of the last 3days of his life leading to death, millennials can easily relate to every emotion with him and contemplate how the generation is lost in this loop of life; trying to be overachievers & wishing to achieve excellence & happiness in everything they do from career, hobby, to relationship.
