The Kannada multistarrer film 45 is set to release on December 25. The songs and trailer released earlier have received responses from audiences.
Starring Shivarajkumar, Upendra, and Raj B. Shetty in the lead roles, 45 marks the directorial debut of music director Arjun Janya. The film is produced by M. Ramesh Reddy under the Suraj Productions banner. The trailer was recently released in five languages, including Kannada, and has drawn responses from various regions. A press meet was held where members of the film team shared details about the project.
Producer M. Ramesh Reddy stated that the trailer and songs have been receiving responses from audiences. He said he has watched the film and expressed satisfaction as a producer. He thanked everyone who supported the project from the beginning and acknowledged the contributions of the cast and crew. Reddy specifically mentioned Shivarajkumar for completing his portions despite health issues before travelling abroad for treatment. He also referred to the cooperation of Upendra and Raj B. Shetty and said director Arjun Janya worked on the film for nearly three years. He added that the film is being distributed in Karnataka by KVN, while distribution in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, and Kerala is handled by other companies. Zee Studios is distributing the film in North India and has also acquired the satellite rights.
Actor Shivarajkumar said Arjun Janya narrated the story to him initially and later directed the film. He stated that the production ensured there were no shortcomings and described the film as a collective effort. He also mentioned the performances of Upendra and Raj B. Shetty and the cinematography by Sathya Hegde, adding that the film conveys values related to life.
Upendra referred to the role of the producer in film production and said the description suited Ramesh Reddy. He spoke about Arjun Janya’s approach to work and said acting alongside Shivarajkumar and Raj B. Shetty was a positive experience. He stated that the film will release on December 25 and asked audiences to watch it.
Raj B. Shetty congratulated director Arjun Janya for his three years of work on the film and producer Ramesh Reddy for the production. He thanked Shivarajkumar and his family for completing the film despite health issues. He said that Shivarajkumar, Upendra, and he have acted together in the film and added that he has been a fan of both actors.
Distributor Supreeth said the film will be released on a large scale across Karnataka and that premiere shows are scheduled for December 24. Actor Pramod Shetty, cinematographer Sathya Hegde, and VFX artists Yash Shetty, Furnace Iran, and their team also spoke about the film during the press meet.
